This is an old video of Arch playing in a box. He stopped doing it as soon as I turned the camera on, but the pillow hiding afterward is still quite cute, so I decided to share it anyway :)
Archer loves his stackable cups. He also loves his bath. For some reason, he decided he had to take a drink from each cup before he could sit in his bath. Who knows why, but I thought I should tape this strange phenomenon.
Last weekend, Grandmommy and Pa-Pa took Archer bowling for the first time. We put the lane bumpers up
And got Arch a 6 pound ball. He had a wonderful time (possibly because of the French fries and dr. Pepper he had at the snack bar) and ended up with the highest score! 124! He beat Pa-Pa by 2 pins!
Look at that form!

We celebrated Archer's second birthday yesterday. Like every mom, I don't know where the time has gone! How can my precious little baby already be two?
It was a day filled with orange. Archer asked for orange cupcakes, and orange bean bag, and a shirt with an orange dinosaur. Can you guess his favorite color? We cam through with the cupcakes and the shirt, but the bean bag won't be here until Christmas, so I made him an orange fleece body pillow. He also requested an orange octopus, and luckily, I found a crochet pattern and was able to make him one. He also wanted a drum, which he got, and a magnadoodle, and various other little things.
Party wise, Jessica (our babysitter) took the kids out to lunch at HuHot and afterwards to Going Bonkers. GB is a huge warehouse size jungle gym climbing space, ball pit, slide extravaganza. B and I met them there and had a wonderful time. Even adults can plan! I think I had as much fun as Arch. At first, all he wanted was to play with the candy crane game, but after we started climbing, he didn't want to stop. We played for over three hours, after which we were all exhausted. There is something very cathartic about playing like a kid and exercising that way, and I plan to go back as soon as we can. After GB, we went home and had tacos and blew out candles over and over again. He loved being sung to!
Archer told us he loved his birthday and was happy, which was the most important thing! We are heading out this weekend for B's family thanksgiving, so I'm sure he'll get a little more birthday from his Grandma's and the extended family.
The pics are from my iphone, so they aren't very good. B is holding all the real pictures hostage,. which is why I haven't posted halloween ones either, so fuss at him!
